Who said that you can’t turn an old, beat-up car into something beautiful? If you are a creative person with some serious skills in sculpting and a vivid imagination, there’s apparently nothing you can’t do with some expandable foam and cardboard stencils.
A Lithuanian man refurbishes old scrap cars that have virtually no life ahead of them. They start out looking like a car you would get from a typical car junkyard, but when he’s finished…WOW. There are literally no words for how he transforms such a piece of junk into such a beautiful masterpiece.
This man started with an old, beat-up Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class.
Once he acquired the vehicle, he started to play with some expanding foam. It may look like a disaster now…but wait until you see the result.
Time to carve out his vision. This is one of the hardest parts and you have to be an artist to get it right.
Post-sculpting, the car starts to take shape.
Pieces of cardboard are used to get the shape right. Then it’s time to smooth and detail the exterior.
It may not seem like much at this point but wait for it, it gets prettier.
The final details of the exterior are almost done.
Ain’t nothing cool about that backside.
Dream cars have curves. The difference is in the subtle nuances.
Headlights are also 100% necessary but surprisingly simple to install.
Finally, we see a pretty shape. But it’s still so…
…unfinished and blah.
LIKE I SAID – WE AREN’T DONE YET!
Mixing up more product! What happens next will blow your mind.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that. Kinda like a secret recipe from grandma…only you should not try to eat this stuff. Trust me.
But wait – before we bring the exterior to it’s final glory – we can’t leave our interior untouched!
After all, dream cars beautiful inside and out. Sort of like the person you want to fall in love with someday…
Again, the difference is in the details. Your car is an extension of your home. Make it nice.
Boom. The gloriously restored interior. The artist’s attention to shape and size really shines through in this work.
The exterior with a fresh coat of gloss.
Car’s got curves for DAYS!
I told you it would get sexier.
